Treatment Modalities

Pivotal Response Training (PRT)

Pivotal Response Training (PRT) is an evidence-based intervention within Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) that targets crucial developmental areas, or "pivotal" behaviors, to produce broad improvements across various domains of functioning. PRT is designed to increase motivation and promote positive changes in communication, social skills, and behavior in a naturalistic and enjoyable manner.

Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT)

Discrete Trial Teaching (DTT) is a highly effective instructional approach used within Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to teach new skills and behaviors in a structured and systematic manner. This method breaks down complex skills into small, manageable components, making learning more accessible and achievable for individuals with autism and other developmental disorders.

Natural Environment Teaching (NET)

Natural Environment Teaching (NET) is an integral component of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) that focuses on utilizing the learner's natural surroundings to promote meaningful and functional skill acquisition. Unlike more structured teaching methods, NET takes advantage of everyday situations and interactions to teach and reinforce desired behaviors and skills.

Acceptance Commitment Training (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Training (ACT) is a cutting-edge approach within applied behavioral analysis (ABA) that combines mindfulness strategies with behavioral change techniques to enhance psychological flexibility. ACT helps individuals accept difficult thoughts and feelings while committing to behaviors aligned with their values and goals, leading to a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

Skill Based Treatment (SBT)

Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) is a core component of applied behavioral analysis (ABA) designed to teach essential skills that enhance an individual’s ability to function independently and improve their quality of life. SBT focuses on identifying and developing specific skills tailored to meet the unique needs of each individual, promoting their overall development and well-being..
